Most of the movies you like I like. One I didn't like was The Last Samurai. The story, the production, editing, directing, and acting were excellent. It was the recollections I had about that period in Japanese-American history. I resent the need of screen writers to interject white men as saviors in historical pieces when they ranked in the shadows. Japanese culture excluded outsiders. Had most cultures been able to discern the hearts of Europeans the world would have been a different place. Our white relatives would have would have found another way to fulfill their spiritual responsibilities. - Dawn Wolf, Keeper of Stories

I agree with the whites thinking they were saviors--many of them still do and even look back at the genocide and say that it was okay--it was what God wanted.

Many even today think that genocide and atrocities today are okay for so called spiritual and cultural reasons.
